I cut my Gunze and Tamiya acrylics with laquer thinner. Gunze's Aqueous Hobby Color thinner is laquer thinner... I use the hardware store type, or Gunze self-levelling thinner which has a retarder built in. Will thin the paints 30% or so, maybe a little more. You can go up to about 50% on some colors. I usually spray in the 15 psi under load range (so I set the compressor at maybe 20something).
