Response to Paint Opinion

but the Vallejo Model Air is ready to paint right out of the bottle. Their Model Color line, made for brush painting, can be thinned with simple distilled water, but is still very good.

Our local Hobby Shops don't carry much in the range of Vallejo's either, but I've gotten mine from a place called Colorado Miniatures, which is a very good on-line source for many different things. Do a google search and you'll find his web-site.

I'm gettin' ready to experiment with Tamiya paints thinned with their lacquer thinners. I've read lots of positive results and I can get my Tamiya's at the Hobby Shop...all the colors. When I'm done I'll post a message about how the "average joe" did. Sooooo, to answer your origin questions check out the web and if the vallejo set is the best price, get it.

Brian
