Response to Finding lost parts in carpet

I use an office carpet protecter (A large translucent plastic sheet w/ small "pins" that anchor it to carpeting. Available at office supply stores.) under a small roll top desk I use as my workbench.

While I frequently drop parts while modeling, it's been a very long time since I've actually lost one.

Dropped parts very rarely fall hard enough to bounce off, and they show up well on the surface. Shining a light across the surface will also turn up any very small hard to find parts.

Regards,

Rich
