Very fine chain available ?

Hello all,
I'm wondering if there is a "real" (not photo-etched) chain with a gauge of more than 40 links per inch, say 50-60? The 40/inch chain was the finest I was able to find in the railroad store from Detail Associates.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Chain by the foot

I've heard rumors (I can neither confirm nor deny) that those high class "gold chain by the foot" type businesses that exist in som e US malls have chain that could work.
Again, I haven't actually tested this theory but it might not hurt to take a look.

Very Fine Chains

If you haven't already checked, I would suggest contacting a supplier for the model ships. Old sailing ship models use this type of chain. Model railroaders also use it.
