oven cleaner

I use oven cleaner. Just spray it on, wait a few minutes and rinse off with water. You might need to scrub a bit in places; I use an old toothbrush

One thing to keep in mind is to not use this on models that have aluminium parts such as turned gun barrels, as these tend to disappear without a trace (no, I don't have any personal experience with this, thankfully ). Other than that, oven cleaner gets most paint off models with very little trouble. If it doesn't, just repeat the procedure.

Floquil paint stripper...

January 14 2004, 11:03 PM

Hi,

I prefer the floquil paint stripper over oven cleaner any day. Oven cleaner always makes me gag and choke, and I really hate that. If you do deside to use the oven cleaner you might want to do it outside and away from any pets you may have.

HTH,
Chris Cahill
