For the first time I've used a real primer (Tamiya spray can)on a figure. I think it's ok to use on the body, but I found that the face looses some of it's subtle features (although I just misted the coat on). I can imagine that this will only get worse with every coat of paint.
So my question: should you really prime a figure's face, or is it better to just paint your base coat on directly? Or does anyone have another technique?
