I got a problem...rather big for being honest. Its like this when I weather my model with a mix between 2 yellow oil paints. Now the problem is that it doesnt look so convincing to me so I use Mig pigments...think its called light dust or something. Well...this makes the colours more softer...but is it right? What does the more xperienced modellers do? Is it just for me its a big enigma?
One question: about soft color, do you means light color???
Anyway, under my point of view is totally right. In fact, is very rare to see a saturated color in a IIWW tank, specially because the dust and fading effects, so a lighter or soft color is more close to reality than a saturated one.
I always try to fade or discolore the base colors in all my IIWW vehicles for these reason.
