how to make mirrors? ie: rear view mirror

need to work on some way to make a rear view mirror as in what material to use to get a nice look. any ideas?

Chad,

Try a product called "Bare Metal Foil" - it's self adhesive. I use it for my 1/24 police cruisers & fire apparatus.

I seen pictures of kits that use the silver mylar that comes on some brands of breakfast bars and candy bars. Very thin and reflective.

Hi,

Agree Mylar from any candy or if in UK crisp pkt works great !!!

I used this in car modelling before I found Bare Metal foil & has major advantages - It's free & available everywhere

Bare Metal scores when you have chrome trim to simulate
