Hi everyone...just finished a set of T48 AFV Club individual tracks but while fitting them to the tank I noticed to my horror that they didn't fit the Tamiya M4A3 (Frontline Breakthru) drive sprocket. They seemed to be too wide!!!!
Anyone knows why this happened or did I just go insane after all those hours of clean up?

I use RHPS tracks all the time. The RHPS tracks are the accurate width. The Tamiya parts are not and are holdovers from the 1982 kit. The fix: take the sprocket off, cut it in half, and add a disc of styrene sheet. Keep adding discs until the tracks fit the sprocket. Then shave down the back of the sprocket half that amount to re-center the sprocket on the running gear. It's a simple fix and easier than it sounds.
