When I tried to apply a primer coat on a figure from Alpine it came out very glossy. I then put more paint on and it continues to stay glossy. What is the problem I am having and how could I fix it?

Please resond
thankyou

First, is it a glossy finish primer? (I know, sounds dumb but they do exist)
Second, did you mix your primer very, very thoroughly? If not you can sometimes end up with a gloss finish where you should have flat, it has to do with the proportion of carrier vs. pigment.
