resin filler in a tube????????????

Guys
ive been using carbody filler but its hard to use
is there a filler i could use for resin that comes out of
a tube
ive tried squadron white putty and italeri putty
but these fillers are realy for plastic and dont stick to resin very well
can any one help

Hey Andrew

For resin kits, I use Zap-A-Gap superglue for filler then hit it with some accelerator...when I do this, I find the hardness of the superglue and resin to be about the same so it sands evenly and smoothly. The only caution is if you don't sand it immediately, the superglue tends to get harder over time so if you don't sand it within a few hours, the resin (being a little softer in hardness) will sand away faster than the superglue...

for pinholes in resin parts,you can use a non-gel toothpaste or vinyl spackle. They dry fast,take all paints and primers,and are easy to redo or add to.
