Question About Weathering Streaks

Guys, I am experimenting with Vallejo Streaks and was wonddering if this should be applied over gloss or matte surfaces?

Gloss over matt

I do streaking with enamels over gloss surfaces.
The primary reason for this is that it is easier to fix mistakes. The effect can be modified with thinners and one can experiment with layering for breaking up uniformity along the surface.
