I have a 2000 cocker that is being difficult right now.I took it out to my local feild to play and it started to rain, it rained the whole day actually. Since then I have had a couple problems but i have fixed a couple myself, the problem that has me confounded is that it isnt shootin consistant. If I pull the tigger slowly it will fire each time i pull the trigger. When I start pulling the trigger at a rapid rate it cocks back and fires but it will fire very inconsistantly. It will fire and then cock back and shoot but not allow any air to pass thru the bolt (at least i think) so it jamms up. I have put in a new ball detent hoping that would be it but no luck. Does this sound like the timing may be off? Is there a decent video out there for maintanece of cockers worth buying?
