Well I think this is my next project(first pb project). Besides a box which is at the moment the only place I can think of to put the solenoids at the moment where would be a good place to mount them? I was thinking of making a drop with 2 boxes with a solenoid on each side and ram, batt, and morlock in the frame(semi only maybe? if curt can do that with an eye)Ok so now I need to gather some info. Where can I get a cheap pgp? Used is fine as long as everything works. Pun hope ya don't mind if I copy your design a little(nanococker style ram mounting). Any definitive mods for when I make it semi? How does the pgp work with vert feed? What kind of brass do I need to use if I were to make a vert feed for the gun? Any good links on how to solder stuff to the tubes? What can't you nickle?? What are some good fast solenoids for this type of application. Pref rams to use? What other grip frames can fit onto the pgp without much modifying? Anything with the same sear placement? Do ya think the stock grip has enough room(I don't know yet but I got to see the frame first) I have no experience with PGPs so any advice about them would be nice. Where would be a good spot to mount an eye? hmm can't really think about much more to ask at the moment. Shown is pgp body with vert feed, ram for bolt, spot for eye(detent?), and collar threaded for cocker barrels(with barrel attached). that's pretty much it. I plan to use 2 solenoids. one for bolt and other for sear actuation. will this work? nothing is to scale really its just to get an idea. Is it worth the time to bother to make it able to take aftermarket barrels? Should I just hone the barrel?? any and all feedback is appreciated. here are the urls for the pics.
