Mountaineering Expedition: Tibet Side

A number of Himalayan peaks from 6000m. & more lie in Tibet which are open for foreign climbers. Monterosa Treks & mountaineering expedition is fully organize to provides any logistical support of any kind of expeditions from obtaining permission, providing support crews including high altitude climbing assistants & porters to facilitating Customs clearances. 04 April 04 Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (1350m.) and transfer to Hotel
05 April 04 Day 02: Preparing Expedition/visa for Tibet ( Kathmandu)
06 April 04 Day 03: Preparing expedition ( Kathmandu)
07 April 04 Day 04: Drive to Kodari, Transfer to Zhangmu (2300M.) hotel
08 April 04 Day 05: Drive Nylam 3750m. Over night at hotel
09 April 04 Day 06: Nylam rest for acclimatization
10 April 04 Day 07: Nylam rest for Acclimatization
11 April 04 Day 08: Drive to Chinese Base camp 5000m.
12 April 04 Day 09: Acclimatization
13 April 04 Day 10: Prepare load for Advance Base Camp
14 April 04 Day 11: Trek to Middle Camp
15 April 04 Day 12: Trek to Advance Base Camp 5400m.

16 April - 09 May 2004 Day 13-37: Climbing Period Shishapangama 8035m.

11 May 04 Day 38: Trek to Base Camp
12 May 04 Day 39: Drive Nyalam
13 May 04 Day 40: Drive to Zhangmu & Kathmandu
14 May 04 Day 41: Kathmandu
15 May 04 Day 42: Kathmandu
16 May 04 Day 43: Final Departures

Climbing Sherpa, Per Sherpa US$ 2800.00

Cost includes:

5 nights in Kathmandu hotel with bed & breakfast
Assistance for Custom clearance in Kathmandu
Expedition staff: Professional Sherpa cook, Kitchen boy, at Base Camp- Advance Base Camp. Equipment allowances, daily ways, insurance for staff, good and lodging en-route.
Full board (Bed, breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )hotel in route Tibet side
Chinese BC - ABC & ABC 1 men tent, Dining tent, Table and Chairs, toilet tent, Mess tent, Kitchen tent.
Per member 3 Yaks BC to ABC and 2 Yak while coming back.
Kathmandu - Zhangmu - Base Camp & while back all transfer by Bus Nepal side and Jeep and Truck in Tibet side.

Air travel to and from Kathmandu.

Entry visa into Nepal. This can be obtained at the airport upon arrival. Re-entry visa for Nepal.
Departure tax at Kathmandu airport for international flight.
Personal travels, medical and rescue insurance.
Climbing equipment, high altitude food & fuel above ABC.
Bar bills, Gas, Oxygen & regulator, Gamo Bag, Rescue Jeep.
Land slides charges in Nepal side if road is blocked
