Now, why should papaumau be logging in as ''Angie Wright''?

Perhaps Mr Herd would care to explain.

Well Mr. Dance he has now deleted my thread To whom it may concern asking me to telephone him about it because it is not suitable for ROB.

When I try to telephone him his line is constantly engaged and the funny thing about it is his telephone number is the same as mine.

He will be deleting his own threads before long.

He has now deleted ''papaumau'' and inserted ''Angela Wright''

These imitation strips are made by children in sweatshops in India out of inferior materials and they fall apart after the first wash.

Sometime the fans really are gullible mugs when it comes to supporting their teams!

So, that is all right then!

Something most odd is happening at the Rip Off Britain Board.

On the Political Debate board, someone, using the board name “John Barrett”, (see above), and giving his real name as “papaumau” has accused the co-editor of the ROB board, Mr Paul Herd, who uses the board name “papaumau”, of impersonating him on another board. He has also suggested that Mr Herd is responsible for the considerable disruption caused to Kim’s Board and the Political Debate board.

A post has recently appeared on ROB under the name of “papaumau” but with the log in “angie wright” replying to a post about grey market football strip, (OP “papaumau”). The name of the author has since been amended by the editor to read “Angela Wright”.

Uncle Sam, a long-time contributor, was recently banned by Mr Herd for the mildest of dissent.

Mr Herd should clarify matters and, unless he is prepared to do so, I shall bring this apparently eccentric behaviour of his to the attention of the board owner.

After you directed me to this thread yesterday Mr. Dance I thought I would take a look at ROB which to be honest I haven't bothered to even look at lately.

There was two posts supposedly written by Papaumau
who logged in as Angie Wright Forum Member and there was also a thread written by John Barrett titled ''To Whome it May Concern.''

Papaupau said sorry John this is not suitable for the rip-off Hall of Shame please telephone me. What was so funny also was that John Barrett was not a forum member so Papaumau would have had to approve of what John had written before putting it on ROB and then later decided to delete it. And if these two can contact each other by telephone then there is something strange going on as you said.

You must live very dull lives if this rubbish is what pleases you. It appears that I fill all of your waking moments. What would you two do for fun if I was to stop entertaining you I wonder?

The internet is a wonderful & interesting place but you two seem to be so engrossed by Papamau that you are in danger of spinning round in ever decreasing circles until you dissapear up your own jacksies!

What didn't you write Papaumau?

I know what I saw on your board and as Mr. Dance pointed it out on PD I expect many others read what was on there before you deleted it.

And John Barrett is not a member Mr. Dance - check http://www.network54.com/Hide/Forum/thread?forumid=100558&messageid=1059945469&lp=1059990937 and you will see that Natalie has Forum member after her name but poor old John Barrett has to wait for Papaumau to approve that what he writes is suitable for The Rip-off Hall of Shame. That is why the whole thing was very strange because if it was unsuitable it should never have appeared on there in the first place.

It becomes stranger and stranger.

Perhaps Mr Hurd will have the honesty to clear he matter up and indicate which contributors on this public interest site are real people, and which are his psydonyms.

I think some of them are geniune. If you take Dave as an example and you will notice he has been around for a long time.

What surprised me was the log in mistake and also that these characters never seem to have anything to say in their own defence when their identities are questioned.
