Folks,

See here

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/3127351.stm

and learn how Richard "Gatsos save lives even if fatalities increase" Brunstrom is now comparing drivers who "drift" over the limit to those chaps who stick knives in people.

Christ Almighty, the man's finally flipped. You know, I am convinced there has been (and still is) a concealed movement to get lefty-loony socialist types into positions of power. There's Paddick, and now Brainstorm. God help us.

I was driving home from the coast yesterday in my old Ford diesel. After leaving a set of traffic light, by which time I had accelerated to circa 38MPH, I was flashed by one of these cameras.

There was no-one else in sight on the road and I was hardly doing a 0-60 in .001 secs. spectacular in my 1987 1600 diesel powed escort van, so it wasn't as if I were a danger to other road users.

Fortunately my vehicle hasn't been registered with any particular person for the past 5 yrs., and the RFL expired in 1997, so good luck to the authorities in getting their £60 odd pounds extortion money out of me, personally I think they'd experience more joy in extracting a wank off the pope.

Next time I pass one of these cameras that are situated every few yards on our humped and outdated roads, I'll have to remember to smile.

Mr Brunstrom on knife attackers

Nice one Kim.
I've been buying older cars for years now, i pay a couple of hundred quid for one with say, 6mths tax-mot then i run em till the tax expires and sell em on for spares for about £80 i never register them in my name so if,,, 'IF' i get flashed or caught by roadside cameras i never get the 'ticket', but i never knowingly break the limit anyway.
I am fully covered by insurance with my sons car cover which enables me to drive a car 'not belonging to me' so in the event of an accident i would immediately register the car in my relatives name, then i'm covered to drive it legally,
There's a lot more to it but i'm saying no more on here

cheers..

I hope that you soon get stopped by a manned police speed trap. Some of them are armed now so don't try anything on. All power to the police in catching you and getting you off the road.

Mr. B. etc.

Whats your problem George?
I am almost perfectly legal!
I am fully insured!
I do not (intentionally) break the speed limit!
(I think this is whats eating you, you're one of the anti car speed freak brigade are'nt you?-live in clifton by any chance??)
The cars I drive are M.O.Td-Taxed and roadworthy. (to the best of my knowlege)
I was stopped by police at a roadside checkpoint only 3 weeks ago, the car was checked, my licence checked, everything in order, the only thing the young officer did not check was who the registered owner was. (ironically the only thing I could have been 'done' for.)
Why should I "Try anything on"?
How can they "Get me off the road"?
Get your head out your a**e, go back to sleep.
If you don't know what your on about, keep your gob shut!
