Hey Bogush, long time .... for some unknown reason suddenly had urge to see if you guys were still around after how many years now ???? Good to see you are still flying your flag.

Have now been posted (pardon the pun) in Afghanistan for the last two years, after the fun days of Geneva when I watched the fuel tax debate raging from across the Channel. Was wondering what had happened to Arthur, Funkii, Whisky Bob, Rob King et al ??? Did anyone ever meet Arthur in the end ? Seem to remember plans for a pint somewhere in the Home Counties.

Anyway, not much cause for mass protest about fuel prices and speed cameras in Kabul, but look back to those days of sparring and cutting-and-thrusting with you with a certain nostalgia.

Good to know that some people still have the energy to speak up for something they believe in ... even if its not something I would vote for myself (as well you know). Good luck to you, old friend.

G

Hi Genii!

Hope you're keeping your head down there.

And keeping to the limits:

Didn't the British army send out speed guns?!

Well, their ordinary one's don't ever seem to work!

Anyway:

What are you doing out there, and who with?

Not heard from Rob King for ages. Whisky Bob hasn't posted for ages. Arthur emigrated to Australia, and posts once in a blue moon, blue.

As for funkii:

He's seen the light and gone over to the Dark Side.

The light being the flash of a revenue camera!

So he still posts now and again.

But his posts are no longer pro scamera.

Are you posting from over there?

Look after yourself and all the best.

It's probably as long for me as for Genevois (I always thought Genevois was female..lol) since I was here. I just got the urge to see if it was still here too.

I wonder if you've got some mysterious force at work there Bogush...lol

Glad to see some old names still here.

Mark.

Come on then Jack.
I know you've an "interest" in racism.

Why no comments here then? [reply] [Complain about this post]

>>Bogush: My point related to BBC bias and no more,<<
As did mine.

>>though I now regret making the points I did as I am not interested in your obsession with speed cameras etc.<<

Well, the next time I have a post edited to read the opposite of what I actually posted on a fungii forum I'll be sure to let you know.

Good to know that you are only interested in BBC bias when it occurs in areas you are interested in.

And you don't count examples from other areas as examples.

Feel free to list the areas you are interested in, and I'll try to make a special effort to find some examples from them, rather than lazily drawing on experience.

And to think that Ol' Bogey reckons you have a Ph.D.

No wonder you have such a low opinion of him. [reply] [Complain about this post]
