Yippee ? I see my old railroading partner B.J. has emerged on the other side of the pond - how ya doing B.J.? Its been a mighty long time since we rambled down on the rails of the old SP, and travelled the Leadville narrow gauge. Remember that night in the Dodge City yards of the Santa Fe, when we fooled the railroad cops and hitched a ride on a southbound freight, and you nearly lost your footing just outside Knoxville? That always was a mighty rough bit of track - I swear them railroad bosses kept it just like that to try and shake us of the brake rods! Still, its mighty good to hear from you B.J. I always did wonder just what had happened to you. Jake (remember old Jake) reckoned you had clocked out on the C & O down near Sulphur Springs in the winter of 52, but I just knew he was wrong; I knew you never were a quitter! Sounds like you turned to trucking now instead of railroading. Still, I have heard it say them British Railroad cops hate Bums and Hobos even more than over here, so youre probably right. Anyway, keep trucking B.J., keep trucking.
