Windfall tax for Oil Companies ???

Some interesting points

Shell employ 80,000 people in the UK not sure of other companies but total figure must be huge.

Most people with investements in the UK ie: an ISA
will gain from Oil companies making large profits.

Shell alone pay the gov 7.5 million in revenue as they have to pay fuel tax for their own vehicles. Again add to this the revenue from other companies 30 million ??

My argument is still with the governments 80% tax and dont forget every time the oil companies put up their prices the government gain extra revenue from VAT!!!

Seems the government is in a no lose situation here.
