Anyone read this yet? I picked up an issue of Afternoon the other day, and hoo-boy, I'm a bit confused..
**SPOILERS!!!**
So that guy on the wall WAS Killy as we see when he pops out of his shell, brand spankin new. Then he finds his gun, performing feats of ungodly strength in the process, and fires it randomly (at full power mind you) in the air til his arm pops off. o_O
Then he dawdles a bit, jacks into a machine and screws with a giant lite-brite, and heads up a looooong staircase. I don't get it...
But the most intriguing part was the rash of images we're treated to at the start...perhaps Killy's memories? Most notable is a panel of bionic-arm girl from the first volume, holding Killy's book with her doggy. And then a pallid white deformed hand, reaching for Killy's graviton emitter. Then we see what seems to be the back of Sanakin's (yay) head as she looks out at the sky, then three strange safeguardish figures standing on a ledge. What could this mean? Is Sanakin back? Did she bring friends? Or are these just the thoughts that are passing through Killy's mind as he is reborn?
