Didn't know that you could do that. Well, I do still believe that there is a way to turn off the hardware acceleration. You can do it in realplayer and mediaplayer, and various of other software, so GetMedia shouldn't be exception.
If you try going through the menus it shouldn't be that hard to find. It looks the same in mediaplayer as in realplayer so it should probably look about the same in GetMedia too.
