Where did you find out about the respective ages of Killy and Dhomochevsky?

Ah, part of this is a response to foehn's post as well.
Forgive me if I've remembered everything wrong, but I was always under the impression that Killy was a sort of prototype Safeguard before the current system, and it's unknown who sent him off to look for net terminal genes. I find it interesting how every so often he shows a sense of morals, and Dhomochevsky also seems human in attitude and thinking, but other Safeguards like Sanakan are completely inhuman.

Working off a an Italian translation of Vol. 7 ((It wasn't uploaded onto the site b/c the person was oonly doing it semi-seriously), Dhomochevsky seems to be an older Safeguard, because he can't heal as fast or regenerate like Sanakan. He also seems to have a specific job of staying in that one place and fighting off the Silicon creatures; he doesn't hurt humans, as evidenced by him trying to get Cibo safely out of the area.
Meanwhile, to me, Sanakan is like one of the brand-spankin new Safeguards with souped up abilities sent on a specific mission to destroy the squatters in Toha Heavy Industries. Ah, but then there's the whole messy politics involving broken treaties between Toha and the Megastructure with Sanakan running all over the place in the middle of it, so I'll hold off on any further commentary until i have time to reread everything.
