Quite Funny: Official BLAME!7 Translation

The seventh volume of blame has just been published in germany... and well, the translation is the worst I've ever seen, at least if you've read the omanga-translation before ^__^

I'll translate some sentences from german back into english, and believe me, i translate it as directly as possible!. "O" stands for Omanga, "G" for the German translation. You should read it, it's sad and funny at once XD~

O: Log 39: Class 1 Critical Effect Weapon
G: Log 39: Unpredictable Weapon

O: Without a doubt. This is a class 1 critical effect weapon. A gravitational beam emitter
G: No doubt. This is a fusion-weapon. A molecule-shockwave weapon.
(uhm... okay.)

O: He isn't responding to the communication frequencies. He's in Battlemode. This won't end well.
G: He doesn't react to normal signals. Then let's eliminate him!
(Yeah!! Go for it!!)

O: The behaviour-prediction device is not working!? There are traces of code erasure!!!
G: A malfunction in the psycho-processing mechanism!? The initializing-code seems to have been deleted by someone.

And then from Log 40:

O: Wouldn't it have been better to just secure the capsule and transport her out as well?
G: Shouldn't we just confiscate the capsule and throw the hag out as well?
(Hag ~> "Weib" in german. It stands for "woman" but it's kinda rude.)

O: We've got the gravitational beam emitter - Then let's try the class 1 critical effect weapon!!! We could finally finish our official mission
G: Now we've got the molecule-shockwave weapon – Are you insane? That is strictly prohibited. If we use it, we will be punished hard!!
(This doesn't even closely have the same meaning!)

O: Iko, don't talk to this woman about anything. (...) that (explaining) would only make things difficult. Just be quiet.
O: Iko, shut up, okay? (..). Don't go on my nerves and leave me alone!


Hohoho... Oh well, I really don't know how these translators could make "psycho-processing" out of "behaviour-prediction", why almost no sentence has the same meaning as in the english version and why Iko and Dhomo are so extremely rude ^__^;; It's way to freaky!
