Response to Quite Funny: Official BLAME!7 Translation

Ahh, a pleasure, to read BLAME! again in Paper and my native language!
I never bevore waited 9 months so desperatly for a book before!
Sadly, I was a bit disapointed, because I "read" it so often in Japanese (which I can't really read) and forgot that our German volumes are reversed(AAAARGH!).

About the translation: I have to say, that I know Chika Kietzmann's style of translatíng BLAME! to German for about three years, and never before compared it to others.
But now I have read the Omanga-scanslation first, and this differences disturbed me, too.
Even if I have already noticed that you use some different vocabulars when it comes to details, when I entered this Forum some time ago, I never worried about it that much.
But now i become aware of some quite important differences, expecially whith this rude, slangy language. Perhaps this even might afflict the mood, how we are percieving the different characters.
I don't know, how it is in the first 6 volumes, but in these few Logs, it really is a bit disturbing.

But anyway, I woldn't say, that it's a bad translation, only because it is diffrent from Omangas!
Prehaps, it's just another way to interprete Nieheis language and translate it. Even a word-to-word-translation couldn't be perfect, and it wouldn't be so much fun to read. I think, this would be something for the hardcore-fans like me, but I think, that the only way for us is, to learn Japanese and read the originals!
(/me still believes, that he could do that someday)
That would be the only way for us to understand Nihei's words directly and have an undistorted interpretation of them.

Btw, this Volume is quite interesting and there are some important things said about the Silicons.
And Killy is wandering through the strange dungeons again in this volume(kinda missed that in the past).
There are more things to be "spoiled", but I'm just to lazy at the moment to mention them.
