Giger drawing style?

Hey!

Recently I have read all volumes of Blame! and found it amazing for the short plot and its drawing qualities. I donīt know if anyone mention this before on this forum, but has anyone noticed that Blame scenary and charaters do recemble Giger art work? (the guy whos done the art work for the movie 'alien' and so on).
