I'm doomed!
After spending a couple of hours I got the program to work, but only for a while. The installation was completed, then when I tried to open the program it gave me some error message in Japanese. I've tried a bundle of times to download the program again and installing it but it doesn't work... It might be my computer that's gone nuts or something, but I don't see why it shouldn't work.
Well, if anyone wants to convert the episode in to div-x I'll tell you how to do it:
You're going to need Hypercam (and a div-x codec if you haven't got it)
http://www.geocities.com/bdshoreline/hypercam.zip
1. Open the window where you adjust soundlevels in windows (I don't know what it's called in the english version of windows) and choose that you want to record sound from either Stereo Mixer (if you have a new soundcard this should work) or Wave (if you have a crappy soundcard you should try this)
2. Open HyperCam (and register it with the serial that's included)
3. Go to the AVI file section and choose which codec you want to use (Div-x low motion is what I'd use)
4. Choose framerate (29.97 is standard, use lower if you have a slower computer)
5. Enable recording of sound
6. Go to Other Options and uncheck "record cursor"
7. Open getmedia and play blame, and pause it in the beginning of the movie
8. Go back to HyperCam and to the Screen Area section
and uncheck "show flashing rectangle...", then choose select region
9. Make a rectangular shape covering the window where the movie is being played
10. Press start rec in hyper cam and then press play in getmedia
11. When the movie's finnished you press stop rec. (if you don't get that by yourself)
Troubleshooting
-If the picture in the recorded movie is black or blue only, then you need to disable getmedia to use any hardware acceleration
-If the sound is out of sync you need to download Virtualdub in order to correct this.
1.Open the avi file in virtual dub.
2.Go to the video menu, and select "direct stream copy".
3.Video menu again and choose framerate, and select "change so audio and video duration match"
4.Go to the audio menu and select full processing mode
5.Go to the file menu and select save avi and choose a filename and destination
Good Luck!
If anyone finds this message helpful would you please consider to send me the episode in div-x since I can't get Get Media to work on my computer! I would be eternaly grateful!
I can trade you anything for it, I've got a lot of anime and manga and a fast connection. Please e-mail me if your interested in helping me!
