******* I KEEP MY PROMISE: Dhomochevsky's wallpaper (x2) *******

Hi there. Before downloading, please promise me to tell those "Blame!" fans in Omanga forum about this site.

Of course Omanga is truly excellent and deserves admiration, but Krum's site is also a real megastructure of "Blame!" that i don't think anyone of the fans should overlook.

Such a long time of silence in this discussion board is really sad, just like Killy who continues his journey alone. Anyone can tell me what's the reason?

Finally, let me introduce the works this time. Though i took them from the black and white pages, but this can't stop me from adding colors on them:

Great! I love both of them! Out of curiousity (and an attempt to jump-start the forum) - What wallpapers is everyone using? I'm currently using:

But I'm thinking of changing to one of the Dhomochevsky wallpapers (probably the first one ) Or these:

Oh wow, Foehn!! They're so coool! o How did you color in black and white pictures like that? It has this really interesting grainy effect, as if from a fuzzy videoshot...very atmospheric. And the blood coming down his face...it's this primal red that stands out all darkly from the fuzzy blue, and he's even got hints of skin color, like there's some other life in them regardless of the lack of light and outside of the mechanical existence they live.

My wallpaper at the moment? ~__~ I'll 'fess up. It's a fanart of Kakashi from Naruto, and I had only put it up very recently, which is what is stopping me from switching it to one of these lovely Dhomo ones. I don't like swapping wallpapers around too much, not until I've gotten bored of the old one.

Change to a Dhomochevsky one Bill! \(^o^)/ I love how there are so many blue wallpapers. It's one of my favoraite colors, and it matches the cold, removed tone of Blame!.

Nice description: "fuzzy videoshot"

That's what i'm trying to convey by those grains: mysterious, blurred, "indirect" and hence "removed (as you've stated)".

Trust me, grainy effect is easy, everyone can handle that by using Photoshop.

The real difficulty lies on three things:
[1] deciding which materials are to be used
[2] to erase those irrelvant parts
[3] to reproduce something missed (Take blm6ver2 as an obvious example, i've elongated those color beams of "interstice of time" caused by the "teleportation" triggered by Mensab.)

Besides those you've mentioned...

i also made one "private" wallpaper for myself.

Before that, i don't want to share blm5rv3 (Blame! Vol.5 Rear Cover Ver.3), because i have a special affection for Seu+Mensab.

However, i've already composed a wallpaper of them in black and white, which is actually the image of the first page of [Log.28: Version]. I think i'll use it for a very long time.

And of course, among those you've mentioned, i like blm5rv3. But, i take cal5blm (the picture of May in Blame! calender) as even better. As you may have noticed, the original tone is red, but i turned it into blue, which i think is more attractive due to its "coldness" (as stated by Crumb).

Finally, i would say that cal9blm is quite satisfactory as well. i would like to see Cibo with wings ~_~
