Seems to me that war will happen. Even if Blair doesn't follow suit the yanks will go ito Iraq and depose Saddam. And what is so wrong with that? I ask myself - the Iraqis are freed from tyranny and oppresion and democracy is bestowed on another grateful nation.
Sure, you create more instability and resentment - but as I see it, Bush and his cronies will be roundly defeated at the next US election, because the economy is still the most important thing. And then the next administration can say to the world, ok, things got a bit out of hand, but we're getting back to normal now, that other guy wasn't even democratically elected, hardly our fault was it - and meanwhile the world is rid of Saddam.
Sure, I can see a few arguemtns the other way. Butyou know what - that Aussie guy Howard really doesn't look good out of this. Looks like he's just tagging along, like he knows which his bread is buttered eehh. Blair at least seems to be sincere in his convictions. Bush otoh.. well I know most ppl don't take this twat seriously, but c'mon, the guy;s ended up as the most powerful man the planet has ever known... I'd say we have to take him very seriously indeed...
