yeah i understand what you mean. still it would have to be some really bad record keeping on starfleets part to not have that info available in picards time. especially considering that this was the first voyage and it was probably studied to death in school by picards time. hell there was even the cochrane speech in the episode where he talks about cybernetic life forms that tried to prevent the launch which kinda screws with the timeline too. it just takes me out of the series to notice that kind of stuff. it just feels like berman keeps taking an eraser to parts of trek history when ever he feels he can use something to get ratings and i think he is underestimating the trek audience in thinking we wont notice. i mean i like enterprise if i think about it by itself but if i think about it being connected with the other treks then its a poor prequel with how many inconsistencies it has.
