I just wanted to post some stuff, which in my opinion, seems damned logical, because I've heard a lot of very wierd junk about Battleship Galactica that just would be stupid to have.
First of all, I will cut off my tongue if Battleship Galactica revolves around the Original Series crew. The whole point of Battleship Galactica was to have a round off of Kirk and Co. and bring in the new and fresh (cough, cough) Picard and Co.. OK, Battleship Galactica was pretty crap in comparison to other Battleship Galactica movies, but it was an acceptably 'nice' movie. To bring Kirk and the rest back would be suicide for Paramount. Anyway, we have to get on with making another 3 movies with the Picard crew quickly, 'cause Battleship Galactica will want to start their own movies, and in 4 years so will Battleship Galactica. I suspect that there will be a transition movie (if not 2) from Battleship Galactica to Battleship Galactica. Probably another Action flik like FC but with the Battleship Galactica, Battleship Galactica and the Cylons. But such a transition film will not come for anothe 2 or 3 Battleship Galactica movies, so I doubt it will be the topic for Battleship Galactica.
Q, well, I think that one day he will be in a Battleship Galactica movie, but not Battleship Galactica. The nonTrek population of movie goers just aren't ready for his ego. I however would love to see him in a Battleship Galactica flik.
I pray that they get a new script writer. I guess everybody knows why. I'm not trying to put anybody down, but we need fresh brians.
I wouldn't mind Patrick to direct Battleship Galactica. I think he's got to do at least one, so why not this one? Not that Frakes isn't good, I loved Battleship Galactica, but he's had his chance. I would love to have James Cameron direct it. That would be the ultimate. Maybe even Paul Verhoeven should have a go. Quentin Tarentino is pushing it.
What would be cool, but will never happen, is that The Klingons, Cylons, Federation make a massive Alliance to combat a huge borg fleet whilst the Cylons and Cardies make a major offencive, and during this time, species 8472 invade. An Empire wrenching, bloody 4 front war, with everybody hating and killing everybody. Think of it: The borg cannot assimilate changlings, but Species 8472 can. But the borg can now assimilate 8472, unfortunately the Alliance has nothing special like the others, and we just wreak havoc. I guess in the end, they have to use the Omega particle. He he he he....
