Some time in the future as George W. Bush dies and is cast to hell he meets the devil. The great dark under-lord tells George "Here in hell everyone does hard labor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year long for eternity, but since you’ve done such a swell job for me up on earth George, I’m gonna give you your choice of work."
That sounds great to George as the Devil leads him down the path of hell. Soon George spots Ronald Reagan digging a ditch 5 feet wide 5 ft deep a mile long only to fill it and start over again and again for eternity. "hey uncle Ronny", George says, Satan here’s gonna give me my choice of labor. What do you think?" "Oh boy, you don’t want this job, my back is on fire Georgy, my knees are cracking. This is miserable, I’d look for something else." So George takes his word and continues down the path of hell with the devil. He then sees his father, George senior, "hey dad, the Satan here’s gonna give me my choice of labor" George senior is chopping a pile of wood a mile high and a mile wide. "My arms are broken and my hands are a bloody pulp son, this is truly awful suffering. You don’t want to do this for eternity, I’d find another job." "OK dad, you don’t look so good I’ll keep going." Not long after that the devil and George come across Bill Clinton sitting in a lawn chair with a long island ice tea in his hand and receiving a blow job. "Wow" says George to the devil "now that looks like the job for me! I’ll take it" "You sure?", asks the devil "You bet!" replies George" So the devil calls out to where Bill is sitting and says "Hey, Monica, you’re outta there."

Shemales are okay. I used to be into them more. Not so much now. I'm more into snuff and Necro these days. Theres a site about people who have Crude Borg implants you might be interested.
Hypothetically if someone wanted to procure fissionable materials, how would they go about doing it?

With the rise of nuclear and biological weapons, mankind now possesses more power than any1 in history. He must be wise to use such power effectively - or learn to become wise - or learn to put sufficient safeguards in place - or learn to deliberately diminsh himself and his works like those furtive ecobastards want - or fly the whole bolly lot into the sun until he makes some more -
or just leaves planet Earth, which recently seems to have gained some credibility.
To some it's is only the beginning of a slippery slope. That to give up our greatest weapons is to open the floodgates. To which one might reply - can we not love things just for what they are? It is a sad state of affairs indeed when everything and anything is regarded as merely existing on a sliding scale, small to large, weak to blithely inoffensive to extreme-ly offensively careless.
Here is a picture, if that's your sort of thing.

Finally, some philosophy. Can a weapon be a weapon if there's no intention to use it? Does it even exist? If I don't use an arguement on you then surely the arguement hasn't been made? If I try and finickle you with slimey semantics otoh I'm just a twat. But if I don't use my twatishness am I still a twat. It's inherent quality, that's what I was getting at.

I don't need your tables, your categorisations, your, let us speak plainly, judgements.
I like shemales, is there any harm in that? I like them for what they are, not where they will lead me, if they've got any sense.. for they're inherent qualities. I respect and am drawn to they're embrace of what they always knew about themselves, but which was withholden from them - to most women after all femininity is something which happens to them, integral to their sense of self - the shemale must create hir own sense of self, necces in hir own image.
Of course there's an element of juvenilliare to this, but surely the acknolodgement of that allows us to move on past it? Like with rascist jokes and that sort of thing. For the affected air, the insocient nod, the comedic slight jockular shrugging of the shoulders and grinning a bit, but not too much, you want a bit of mystery after all.. tinges all. It doesn't affect me!
I love me them shemales!!! ')

I have been following his work for years. His work in Africa was especially inspirational to me. aswell as the Sea Voyages and his work with Palindromes. Theres a pretty good biography written not long ago. I can't remember the name. Something... with Fishes I think. Something nautical anyway.

I've seen 1.1 and I didn't think much but I'll give the series a shot and watch season 1. If it is an allegory for The WAT, wouldnt the series stand- in for Al Qaeda have to be a Bunch of of independent entities with different, usually contradictory agendas, some of whom are Coalition Sponsored False Flaggers?
Or is it based on the BS Fukayama COF World View that has no relationship whatsoever with reality.
I'm just curious. I'll watch it either way.
It sounds like we might actually be getting something like a New Trek Series. In Spirit anyway.
Posted on Nov 24, 2006, 3:07 AM from IP address 124.183.244.233
It's not really a direct allegory of anything - probably more the Fukayama, if he was actually made to read his crap back to himself, or something like that.
Using fundamental and technical analyses, the individual trader attempts to determine trends in the price movements of currencies, and by buying or selling currency pairs, attempts to gain profits. The most often traded currencies, the major currencies, are those of countries with stable governments and respected central banks that target low inflation. Currencies that often trade along with the U.S. Dollar include the Japanese Yen, the British Pound, the Swiss Franc and now the new European currency - Euro are therefore the most liquid, unlike "exotic" currencies which are often tightly regulated and simply too illiquid. Countries suffering political instability or economic turmoil, and who use monetary expansion to fuel the economy or monetary devaluation to increase exports, usually have relatively higher inflation and weaker currencies.
I didnt have a scanner so I copied out some of the best Lost Voyages ost Synopsi. One of them was by ellison. I think it was about throwing trash into a black hole. Too much. It Explodesa and the Spaceship has to fly away. this storyline was to encompass an entire series.

Well I've seen the opening Movie. Nice Concept. Strong Cast.
I don't see what it has to do with the War on Terror yet apart from the fact that "We" created the threat.
The Cylons as Humans thing seems a similar concept to the Shapeshifters in Ds9. Not surprising since both shows share some of the same writers. Given the fact thay Cylon sleeper agents actually believe they are human I think it's possible that a Cylon could defect filling a similar dramatic role as Odo in Ds9.

Commander William Adama -" It's too bad she won't live, but then again, who does?
by Elderiko.
I'm up to episode 10. Some thoughts.
I'm thinking God could be something other than we assume it to be. A Generic Term for Nanotchnology that is causing Boltars Hallucinations or something. That would be cool.
At some point they should get rid of Adama for a while, and replace him with a complete Prick so we can see how a millitary dictatorship works. We could call him President Prick. Then the writers could make the Problem of discovering Cylons easier by having him widen the definition of "Cylon" to include everybody. Could make some interesting Parallels with certain countries (just about all of them) there.

Mr Q, you knew this was coming.
Episode 14. Colonial Day.
Once again we have 2 choices. A Communist Despot or the Status Quo. No other candidates or systems are represented. We arent even
given the context of how people actually live. Here we have reinforced this platonic idea that anyone who tries to better the lot of the downtrodden is not to be supported without subjecting the nation to iron will. It's Reaganism or Nothin. Try to find an american series that addresses these issues and doesnt pertain to this view. I work with people who believe this shit. This all pervasive propaganda is why in ten years the bottom 90% will have nothing.

Does the fact that Michael Chrichton wrote a book arguing against Climate change mean that nobody should read him? Can't people make up their own minds without you or battlestar Gallactica telling them what to think? Is it also not possible that most people dont give a frag about subtext?

In Chapter 22 ("Legend of the 13th Tribe"), the chapter begins with a slow zoom in shot of the Colonial Fleet focused on the Galactica and Colonial One. If you pause the scene at the very beginning and look at the top right hand corner of your screen, you will the U.S.S. Enterprise from the Original Series. What a wonderful homage from one awesome show to another.
In the original pilot and in several episodes of the new Battlestar Galactica, amongst the various ships of the fleet, you'll occasionally spot the Firefly Class ship, "Serenity" from the Joss Whedon TV show "Firefly". The agency which handles the optical effects for BSG is the same as "Firefly"'s and no doiubt wound up there aa their own little tribute.
btw holding down the right SHIFT key for 8 seconds turns on FilterKeys. Apparently it causes Windows to ignore brief or repeated keystrokes. This in effect slows down the keyboard repeat rate. You can't use the edit function with these windows I see. It's too good for that sort of thang.

The cylons - yeah, they're a rip off of the shapeshifters. Or are they?
But really dude I think you must be watching these too quicky if you're up to Colonial Fleet or whatevr it's called. I mean I'm not getting season 3 till like 2008/9 and the expectation, it's like, nothing I've ever experienced, I can barely make it though typing about it... well alright it's long since evaporated - expectorated. Surely there's a happey medium. Once a week?

I've run out of episodes.
I had a look for season 2 to no avail. I guess it hasnt been released yet.
I've been thinking. If the Cylon Voight Kampf test takes 24 hours or whatever, then they must be pretty close to humans genetically. Given blood samples of several animals I'm pretty sure you would see what wasnt human straight away if you knew what you were doing. They don't have Bionic components then. We know Atleast one of them is a hallucination. Maybe they all are.

I miss that sort of thinking - go to the bsg boards and there's a surprising no of republicunts telling you that Guantanamo is giving them an easy ride - maybe it is, I'm open to suggestion. But season 3 apparently makes the Us out to be.. I'm not sure - they're all confused about it though. So now they project their confusion on to liberal types through humour - except the humour is that 1-way type where only they get the joke. Damn them, they figured out the most powerful influencing tool in todays world.
There's quite a lot of military posters too btw - it's appaently pretty close to their reality.
What else was I gonna say. Oh yeah, cylons as hullucinations is interesting - perhaps these are hullucinations projected onto r-l human beings. Or perhaps these are humans who have been overwhelmed by the voices in the head, and Baltar's just managing to keep them at bay. Anyway, I'm bsg'ed out now.

I think the trick is to make it appear that the show supports US Liberals and conservatives. This shouldnt be difficult as they concur on most issues. I thought it was interesting that it was Tigh who declares martial law being as he is an alcoholic.
Roslins Starting to piss me off too. You can probably guess why that is.
. BSG is more a critique is a critique of the world as it is shown to us by Government Spin Doctors and Mainstream media. I know it's not SF so it's pointless to compare but The Sopranos gives a more or less accurate depiction of the world. One of the very few. After that show finishes up it looks like HBO is starting on Preacher. Could be pretty good.
What does "..Guatanimo is giving them an easy ride" mean?

My guess is Locke is the Captain. Injured and wheelchair bound during the Crash, He incorporates this Trauma into his Dreams. Hurleys Nuthouse imaginary Friend probably Serves the same function as the Rekall Failsafe In TR. Hurley, Ecco, and Sawywer are Prisoners. Obviously Jack is Ships Doctor.
They're in a Crude VR that is used for Punishment and rehabilitation. When they jack into the VR a Hive mind fiction is created using their crimes as a basis.
The Ship is knocked off course and the crew and Guards Jack in along with the Criminals. Probably they are heading toward the Sun or drifting through space for eternity.
The Others are Probably the only inhabitants that have'nt had their brainwaves altered.

in season 2, the crash starts to be used as a Metaphore for 911 and they seem to be condoning Torture and unlimited detention. This wasn't the case in season 1 which seemed to have a far more liberal attitude.

The "Maze Of Death" Drifting Aimlessly through Space scenario although cool, probably isnt what's happening.
The Island seems to be helping people work through some Emotional Problems. When they do so, they usually die not long after. That is deppressing. It also makes me think The Island is part of a Psychiatric System.
NSA aims ads at 'Lost' and 'CSI' fans
WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- The U.S. National Security Agency has been eyeing viewers of TV's popular series, "Lost" and "CSI," as potential recruits.
Fans overwhelmingly responded to NSA help-wanted ads aired in the Washington-Baltimore market during the two shows this fall, the Baltimore Sun reports. NSA Human Resources Director John Taflan told the newspaper in a written statement the ads brought thousands of hits to its Web site.
It's obvious why the NSA targeted viewers of "CSI," the CBS franchise about forensic science, but the choice of ABC's "Lost," about a disparate group of plane crash survivors marooned on a mysterious island, is not as clear.
Longtime CIA officer Ron Marks told the Sun "Lost" is a good choice because it reaches an "audience that's interested in problem-solving and thinking differently."
The NSA is looking for recent college graduates and high-tech industry employees with skills in computer science, languages, engineering and math.
Second to last episode in season 2 and the show is begginning to look like it is about the public relations Industry. Looks like the Islanders are being Manipulated into Conflict, Suspicion And Hatred.
Things are looking good. Looks like I was too Hasty. Trek is Saved.

JJ Abrahms created Lost. If Lost Is Crap, the chances are The next Trek movie will be crap also. For whatever reason Theres a Propagandistic Line that runs through most American TV Dramas. Some TV manages to avoid that: a lot of HBO. and Trek.
If you impose a Right Wing Hawkish agenda to Trek, you would destroy the Franchise.
Early in season 2 of lost there is seen to be a need to torture a Prisoner, and certain Bush administration war on terror measures were echoed in the show. I was momentarily worried that the show was becoming a mouthpiece for the Republican Party. By the End of season 2 it became clear that the show was acting on a whole other level. For now it looks to me as if the show is independent which bodes well for the next Trek Movie.
Posted on Nov 21, 2006, 1:12 AM from IP address 58.166.73.83
Maybe though we've got the corrolation backwards. Perhaps we can only know how good Lost is by seeing how it corrolates to trek? But since our brains are part of the material world.. isn't all consicousness a projection of our attempt to relate to it - through the material world? Or then again, if the reality that we call consciousness is antecedent, well, how can we know what came before!?
Anyway, ~I hear that polar bear turns up again in season 3. That's more like it! though I was reading something recently about how in art sensation is taking precedence over substance. And I'm like, since when is Lost art? Since when are giant elephant floats art? Since when is tht big heltar skeltar in the Tate modern art? See, with sensationalism we don't have to think - we don't have to worry, or consider the consequences - or remember how to relate to what we now have to 'deal' with. But at some point we are going to want to know where we are. It's like me typing, I can't think for shit when I look at the monitor, it's like it sucks my brainwaves out of my head. Same looking at a tv screen - which is why I hold with the 'tv makes you stupid arguement' which all these common popularisors of the mass-tvtainment bullshit are always railing against. Cause it does. The trick is not to look at the monitor but at the keyboard, and trust in your own power to get the right letters i the right order, and if you don't well you can always go back and edit it - and if that doesn't work you can always pretend that's what you wanted to say, that you wanted to give the impression than yo weren't looking at he monitr cos you were thinking i the moment, but in this case I think we can agree that I'm just going to edit it all again to avoid any awark indeifference as to whether he mean this or that - if there are any mistakes then it's cos I didn't notice them as I went through. Course, that's what he would say isn't it it?? How can I trust a bastard who doesn't even like tv? Doesn't know what he's saying.
Posted on Nov 23, 2006, 4:58 AM from IP address 195.92.67.65
We can make it work. Anyway, it was just a roundabout point about reading from a compueter monitor. I dunno how anyone learns anything on the net I really don't.
See this? It's supposed to be a comprehensive and penetrating analysis of the situation for those that want to pretend to know what they're talking about.I just know though that I won't make it beyond the second paragraph before the mind turns to crap. But it's linked anyway so if any1 else can do better, you're welcome.
IS it any good? I tried reading the Bible but it was fucking boring. Then I got an audio version read by Gregory Peck but that was boring too. Is the Koran better? Any Religion that produces Malcolm X and Muhummad Ali cant be all bad. Why did you decide to read it?

For years 'lost' tapes recording data from the Apollo 11 Moon landing have been stored underneath the seats of Australian physics students. A recent search has uncovered them.
They were nearly thrown out with the rubbish. But a last minute search instead has scientists in Western Australia dusting off several boxes of 'lost' NASA tapes which record surface conditions on the Moon just after Neil Armstrong stepped into space history on 21 July 1969.
Actually theres no reason why you would remember. A few weeks ago I read in New Scientist that the original tapes of the moon landing went missing. This is pertinent because it was a topic on the Blog Page.
Seems to me, the Repubs run a type of precipice politics where every issue involves standing at a chasm, daring others to stand close to them so they can accidently on purpose nudge them. They've nothing to live for, but they'd rather some1 else took the fall anyway. Otoh, didn't the democrates used to speak of reaching something more and, yknow, higher? Guess they don't want to risk the fall this time, poor lambs.
But precipiss politics, the way I sees it, works in differnet ways - for the Reps to blatently steel this elction would be so exgregious that a tipping point would become visable and apparent - but to conceede some ground to the dems means more obfuscation and sort of ting. Who knows really. Bottom line, thse guys are both more clever and stupid than they ever appear.
But since I'm just writing this in sort of commemoration of the mid-terms, let me talk about the difference between the vain and the proud. The vain man doesn't know who he is so he plays a role, draws attention to this character that he hopes will impress on others his fundementally good qualities - ess he is modest. - he lives for the approval and support of others, uncertain as he is of himself. The proud man? Well he just thinks he has something to be proud of/
Anyway, I read this somewhere or other, but what it seems to sum up the state of play. So to all the american visitors passing through , I hope you take the time today to vote for modesty, vanity, and insecurity. And yeah whatvere!

There are some lovely stories, like the 1 with the huge stone covering the entrance to a cave. But this stone can never be moved - only if you will it. But the will cannot exist everywhere - and even if it could, it cannot work back in time. You say 'I will' but you cannot remake the past in your image.
Which makes those that act finally embittered, with all existance. All the riches behind that stone door - they are useless to him.
Shalom.

I went to church once. Catholic. It was okay. Pretty Boring. They like to Pray for their leaders a lot. Pray that they are making good decisions. and there was a bit about Missionary work In Africa.
From what I can gather concerning Africa, the Churches no Contraception Policy is doing wonders for the African AIDS Crisis.
All in all I admire Catholic people for their open minded interpretation of certain Edicts like Sex before Marriage. I've also met a Catholic Budhist and a Catholic Fascist.
If I were you I would find a way to show these guys a new Doccumentary called Jesus camp. It should get a Cinema release here soon. Also The Name of the Rose, the crucible and The Davinci Code. Even though This last one is stupid, it creates a sect of Christianity that is nicer and more Humane than anything these Hillsong guys have come up with.

I Just read the Return. What was the point of bringing Kirk Back as a Borg just to kill him off in the same novel. I could have overlooked the Flaws in Characterisation and plo if the Story was dealing with some issue. Scientific, Socio- political or something. It did not. I think the purpose ofthe Project was to get all the characters to talk about how great JT Kirk is, hence to feed Shatners ego.
Go and see the Departed. I missed the Aviator after Di Caprio Pretty Much ruined Gangs of New York and I was reluctant to see this. This is 70s, 80s scorcese if that means anything to you. Ill see Dicaprios nect movie based solely on his performance here.

S'just that anyone who complains about loss of liberty is labelled a Stalinist. The choice they say is between the Status Quo and Stalinist Death Camps. Alternatives arent in the Public Vocabulary. What are some alternative - non rayndian, Bomb Throwing definitions of Libertarianism, Anarchism and what's with all these "Guest Workers" (AU, US) and doesnt it strike you as odd that neither the Labour Party (AU) nor the Democrats (US) seem to care about a concerted effort to prevent certain Demographics favourable to them from Voting? And what the Fuck happened to Habeus Corpus, and the Geneva Conventions?
Who cares. Atleast we're not a Bunch of Filthy Communists.

I can't announce this on official channels. They don't want me speaking to the media anyway. But I see my role as standing between the conflicting natures of our human selves, and our alien ancestory, of reaching out to the better parts of our natures so that we might transcend the baser aspects of reality that seek to drag usdown - to seek peaceful co-existance and such like.
IDIC guys.

How there's so much more to reference these days that you can say what ever you want and expect not to be understood - and it's necc their fault. And perhaps 1 might try not to be understood to then appear cleverer. Or else if you want every1 to know what you're actually refering to - you have to be sure that everything you refer to is immed referenceable - like MacDonalds or and
British politcis and pants just doesn't cut the musytard anymore, hoes.
Does this limit our understanding of others? Or of ourselevs? Surely the answer is to only reference in terms of 1s own headspace, and then and only then seek to build a rappoachment with others to descibe what went on. In which case all reference is past-tense and irrelevant in today's market-driven ecomnomy.
But to return to capitalist distortions - whose seen Children on Men? Yeah, yeah, I know the city represents fascism and the countryside represents Communism. But the 3rd act? What does this represent? The convergence of ideologies, or the breakdown of all ideology - the inevitable product of an ideology that has bcome hard and unwilling to give birth to new ideas perhaps? Whatever, if any1 happens to watch it, they play a piece represnting Stalin near the beginning of act 3 -and that makes no *sense* whatsoever./
And relax,

Been watching Prison Beak.
Leave it to Fox to create a Prison Drama Series which fails to address any actual Prison Issues. Theres also a Montage episode.
Have you seen "America Freedom to Fascism"? I'm trying to get my hands on it. It looks like we are monumentally fucked. Bush is Dictator. PNAC has almost completely passed through legislation. You no doubt heard about the Militarisation/ ownership of space bill. all that's left is control of the Internet. Next we get the Universal ID with Tracking device, Cashless society and by that point where locked in for the Brain Chips. All in the name of fighting Terror ofcourse. It looks like a Race war is not thay far off. Next Three Years is My Guess.
We're living Mirror Mirror History of the Birth of the Federation. A kind of Nazi/ Borghybrid.
anyway heres something else I Found. Originally the Traveller was Pegged to play Data and Wesley Snipes or Tim Russ was geordi http://www.sliceofscifi.com/

But govenment control of every aspect of our lives? Nah, what we're seeing are the 'death throes' of the old order - ppl getting their information from decentralised sources has encouraged these lameo-fascist responces, but they won't be able to keep up. Soon they'll welcome up in with open arms, wondering why they were ever concerned about our presence.
Heard any good BSG ideas lately?

Thing is Bush Lost the Previous two elections. Partly due to Electronic Voting Machines controlled by the Republican party. Partly due to the Supreme court in 2000 which gave bush a narrow Victory despite Al Gore getting more votes. That was unconstitutional by the Way. and partly due to the disenfranchosement of Minority voters in 2000, 2004 particularly in Ohio. Since then things have happened that make me think next weeks midterm elections will be interesting. The Economy, The response to Katrina and the Iraq War in Particular have meant that GBs approval rating are at an all time Low.
I don't know if you've been following this but GB has been given a bunch of new Powers inclusind the ability to incarcarate someone indefinitely without Trial or evidence.
This tells me that the Republicans Don't intend to lose the next election.
If they Rig the Election when the Presidents approval rating is at an all time low it would be pretty Transparant.
I think theres a good possibility that Bush will be forced to impose Martial Law after the next election. Particularly in Black Communities.

I'm sort of working it out. Take a look at a doccumentary called America Freedom to Fascism. This seems to confirm a lot of the things I've read about International Banking institutions sort of Slowly creating a Global Police State. US, BBC Journalist Greg Palast is doing a lot of good work on this aswell. Read, Hear "Armed Madhouse", "The Best Democracy Money can buy" In BDMCB Theres a Chapter on The World Bank, IMF
Yo missed some new Evidence about Climate Change in the Blog. The Most Convincing yet. Rupert Murdoch has officially Endorsed Climate Change. We have to build as many Nuclear Power Plants as we can.

Let us therefore state the reason why the framer of this universe of change framed it at all. He was good, and what is good has no particle of envy in it; being therefore without envy he wished all things to be as like himself as possible. This is as valid a principle for the origin of the world of change as we shall discover from the wisdom of men, and we should accept it. God therefore, wishing that all things should be good, and so far as possible nothing be imperfect, and finding the visible universe in a state not of rest but of inharmonious and disorderly motion, reduced it to order from disorder, as he judged that order was in every way better. It is impossible for the best to produce anything but the highest. When he considered, therefore, that in all the realm of visible nature, taking each thing as a whole, nothing without intelligence is to be found that is superior to anything with it, and that intelligence is impossible without soul, in fashioning the universe he implanted reason in soul and soul in body, and so ensured that his work should be by nature highest and best. And so that most likely account must say that this world came to be in very truth, through god's providence, a living being with soul and intelligence.
On this basis we must proceed to the next question: What was the living being in the likeness of which the creator constructed it? We cannot suppose that it was any creature that is part of a larger whole, for nothing can be good that is modelled on something incomplete. So let us assume that it resembles as nearly as possible that of which all other beings individually and generically are parts, and which comprises in itself all intelligible beings, just as this world contains ourselves and all visible creatures. For god's purpose was to use as his model the highest and most completely perfect of intelligible things, and so he created a single visible living being, containing within itself all living beings of the same natural order. Are we then right to speak of one universe, or would it be more correct to speak of a plurality or infinity? ONE is right, if it was manufactured according to its pattern; for that which comprises all intelligible beings cannot have a double. There would have to be another being comprising them both, of which both were parts, and it would be correct to call our world a copy not of them but of the being which comprised them. In order therefore that our universe should resemble the perfect living creature in being unique, the maker did not make two universes or an infinite number, but our universe was and is and will continue to be his only creation.

Sonny boy, that was Greek philosophy, which is not gibberish, except for Aristotle, and Theophrastus.
But since I'm just a cypher, a method of convienence to convey my thoughts without having to directly put me name to it, a nobody, a fircking nothing. What does it matter what I say. Who cares if I call Plato a neo-fascist whack job? Even if he is. I hate you all.
ps Bush is crap.

But as a looksee into how the Greeks approached the concept of change, it does hold a soupcon of interest.
It is in our modern world that we hold change to be quantifyable and a thing of the past. Or unpredictable and continuous, because of quantum supposition. So we don't understand how change can be 2 things, on the macro and micro scales, but the Greeks could at least base their understanding on the human situation, which makes more sense. ergo, listening to old wise men is an acceptable basis for a philological arguement. So say we all.
Please, let me be free.

you ever spend time with chritian bible reading groups. these guys are like the hardest of the hardcore trekkies. and they feel just as past their used by.
having someone laugh in my face at the notion of evolution, then start talking of immortals turned mortal after being decieved by a talking serpant is akin to me smoking a joint and then having some chick lecture me on how bad they are as she sucks down half a pack of cigarettes.
seriously now, 2 people started us all? where did they come from. logically speaking now. and if they were immortal, did their bodies have digestive systems? if something is immrtal and made mrtal, was it ever really immortal?

Phillip K Dick had an Idea like Jesus actually returned as he was meant to only it happened in a different Dimension. We Live in one of the Crap dimensions where God Doesnt Exist and Nazis Rule.
So maybe Adam and Eve are Still Immortal. Everything up until Eve takes the apple happened in Earth one, and everything after happened in Earth 2.

Apparently this had never happened before in human discorse - that a man would come back to life. The concept hadn't even been considered, thus proving that it had to have happened. Seriously, I've heard this described with a straight face,.
Or maybe Jesus represents natures' rebirth in Spring, etc etc.

How do you know that a Christian Theocracy Isn't what we need to save us from the Nihilism that came out of the Counter Culture and the Sexual Revolution? (and not the Public relations industry)
anyway You should try and Find a Bookie who will let you Gamble on the next US presidential winner preferably one that doesnt believe in "Conspiracy theories"

I think a lot of good could come from this if someone were willing to do it.
Maybe start an order like the knights Templar who can wait out christs return. They would be a Theological THink Tank also so they can work out where he is likely to turn up, weather He will use an alias etc. I think You could expect enangelical groups to Subscribe to your magazine. That could help keep our operation afloat. I think you could make a good living out of this.
Maybe you've read some Tribulation Literature and you've decided Christ should be done away with. Self Defence it would be then.

Don't threaten to kill Jesus. Also, assuming he does return, He will Smite you. Every Christian Knows this. I am not certain of the Legality of Conspiracy to Murder a "Fictional" Character. I guess it depends on who the Masons worship. If it's Satan you might be okay. Personally I think Jesus was pretty Good.

The last post assumes all lawyers are Freemasons and asks the question "Do Freemasons Worship Satan?" If so maybe the whole Assasinating Jesus issue wouldnt get to court.

"Christmas Island is famous for the annual migration of millions of red crabs to the ocean. But in recent years 20-million crabs, about a quater of the entire crab population, has been wiped out by an invasive insect - the Yellow Crazy Ant.
The Federal Government has just pledged $400-thousand dollars to fund the fight against the ants and try to save the ecology from total meltdown."
You know I'm wondering if this has been adressed already here - but it's just occured to me - what Nemesis is - Nemesis is a vampire movie. And Shinzon is a vampire ('I want to drink your blood'). For pete's sake you've even got flashbacks thrown in there, as the innocent young is taken under the 'wing'. Vampire movie.
So why the fuck did they make a vampire movie?
