Its good to see ya...hope all is well with you. I am sitting here before work getting Christmas cards signed to be mailed out..

I am almost done all that is needed is for the family and neighbors...and then shopping. oh boy..

How is everyone, I'm pretty busy, but mostly at work.

Except for my brother and a few stocking stuffers for my honey my shopping is done...thank god.

I don't do malls so I just catalog shop..saves me tons of time.

Everything has been going well on my end. Harry and I have been searching (unsucessfully) for a peice of land to build our dream house on, but it's tough finding something.

Either it doeen't perk or it's on the side of a friggin mountain and would cost a fortune to escavate.

The husband is getting a bit frustrated and depressed about it.
Me I'm ok where we are, but he really hates the neighborohood and the area so he wants out.

Hopefully after the first of the year we will be able to find something...so start crossing those fingers and toes.
Other than that life is good, I hope your all doing well and your almost finished your shopping....and Kate get those cards out woman!!!! ...:)

Good luck! You should talk to 'Shana about that. I think they may be completely done by now! I think that's one project I just would never do. Hey, I don't even like to rearrange my furniture. Building a house would REALLY be beyond me!

>@@@@@ You crack me up Whisper, and I'll most likely be wanting to hang my self half way thru but so far it has been fun.

We have been looking at kitchen's(which is going to cost more than the house)...lol
But I'm getting into the idea of doing it all my self, and putting things where they are convienent for us.

The house is kind of an old farm house style, garage on the side and a porch that wraps 3/4 round. We really liked that one particular plan so I think that is it.(yes we actually both agreeed on it)

I know unheard of for a husband and wife...lol

But thank you, Whisper and Mermaid for the good vibes..we need them.

just thought I'd pop in to say "HI" - I don't think we've chatted before....I'm here occasionally....so you're looking to build a home? So are my husband and I! I'm in school, so we're looking to buy the land first - and we may have a place selected - and then when I get out and am working, we'll start building. The whole thing is rather scary...Well, good luck!

No I don't think we have chatted before but I get what your saying about it being scary.

We have been looking for so long and I think we just found it this past weekend. We are doing all the checking into it, you know township restrictions, taxes, etc etc... which is actually further than we have gone with anything we have looked at. So now I'm starting to feel like...OMG what do we do now.

But good luck to you as well, hope all your plans go as you dream.

And yes Whisper I will post a pic, when it's done but maybe I can get my husband to give up the pic long enough to show you what we are looking at.

Yup Whisper, we're in our new house, but we're still 'fixing' stuff .... and unpacking!
