I must say though, looking at Rommie's new look, my mind would not shut up screaming LEEEXXXXXXXX!!! And FARSCAPE!!!!! As for Trance....hmmmm... First thing that came to mind was she looked like a princesss out of a sugary fairtale. Hmmmm.

And as for the stories...well, ah... Not gonna go there, LOL!

Let's see. Trances two most DISTINGUISHING features were her tail and her purple skin,both of which are now gone, apparently in the interest of gold toned cleavage.

As for Rommie, well she looks like Jennifer Sky from Cleo 2525.

More of the transformation of the show into a fluff, mindless vehicle directed at the 14-49 year old male who in the words of Kevin Sorbo "want to screw" Lexa Doig.

Not happy. Not happy AT all.

Maybe Trance is going thru a 'life-cycle' change?

When I first saw that pic of her, I thought, EGADS! They've given her 'horns' now!!!!!

rommie's and Trance's new looks are just for a particular ep and not a regular thing, I don't like the blue hair and yes it says LEXX.

I'm having mixed feelings about the rest of the season ep's they sound interesting, but i still think they give away too much in the spoilers...I guess that's why they call them spoilers..:)

From what I could tell, they didn't look that bad. At least Beka lost the phony pony! The one that I wish they'd redo is Rev. But I don't see that ever happening.

I'm still gonna wait and see. But, truth to tell, so far this season I haven't seen anything that makes me wanna stay "tuned in". <<shrug>>

You know, remember that Canadian BritCol person over at sci fi??? I'm beginning to wonder.

This speaks VOLUMES about Kevin's attitude toward his female co stars (he and his friends talk about which one is more screwable), his wife (she must LOVE seeing this kind of thing in black and white), and to women in general.

TPTB and Kevin are encouraging the "Hot" female stars thing and him talking like this is partly hype for the show?

What ticks me off more than promoting the idea of screwing Lexa is picking her above Lisa or Laura? There are plenty who are interested in "screwing" them, too!

I can't see much difference in Trance's look from what is there.

I liked Beka's ponytail/braid! But that isn't the worst of it.

AND I've never really been irritated by Kevin Sorbo making sexual references to characters, actors/actresses, or his own life in his interviews if there weren't too many of them. But if every other word out of his mouth is someone wanting to screw someone or getting laid ... I think we could do without too much of that.

And there are females out in the audience who wouldn't mind doing the wild thing with the male actors. If it's good for the goose ....

Honestly, I know sex-selling and physical attributes and innuendo are just part of the entertainment landscape but really .. and I'm hardly a prude or easily offended myself ... He could also get his idea across without using certain verbs all the time.

I went from zero to bitch in no time flat during a seminar/workshop yesterday. LOLOL!

No...........I CAN'T imagine it. I'm SHOCKED I tell you simply SHOCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was like this...the forum/seminar/workshop thing had around 10 participants, including the Head of my division, who is a Power Person - and an 8 on the enneagram, if you have any idea of what that is (ie steamroller). She's always seen me as a quiet, mousey, doesn't-contribute-much type, largely thanks to my ex Bitch Monster Supervisor from Hell. Well, I happen to be really interested in the First Year Experience here at our University - especially given the high first year drop out rate.

So we broke up into two groups of 5. I was sitting next to the Head (who is also one of the three head honchos for the entire Univ. Library). She overwhelms me at times, because I'm basically not that self-confident anyway. We were discussing initiatives the library could take that would contribute more positively to the experience of first years. I asked the group if we did self-guided tours (because if not, I thought it would be a great thing to start, especially for people who study part-time and work full time and can't get here during normal hours - they could get a tape or whatever, and walk around guided by the instructions on the tape - all sorts of large galleries and museums use them. The Head asked another of the big wigs in our group, who indicated we didn't do that. Then the bigmouth union person (a very abrasive woman) started in on it and took it over. At the end they all turned to her and said "That's a GREAT idea - KIM. Let's run with it." I tell ya, I was like SAY WHAT????? It was my bleeping idea! So I've done a slow steam overnight and decided enough is enough. I'm sick of being seen as a grey person and I'm going to start confronting them. And today I'm wearing the t-shirt I got from that site 'shana recommended after September 11 where the proceeds of each sale went to the families of victims of the WTC collapse. You know, the one that has the witches hat and says "American witches Heal and Protect"? And I wore my darkest lipstick. Anyone gets in my face today - they are going to pay Big Time.

{Kendaa}, I had something similar to what happened to you happen to me once. It was a loooong time ago and for some reason I wasn't so much angry/irritated and completely amazed at watching it happen.

Self guided tours for students at a library is a very good idea.
