I can't wait for winter break to be over. Thank goodness Jared goes back to school tomorrow. I love my son don't get me wrong, but I'm tired of trying to keep him entertained while keeping Grace happy at the same time.
I have new respect for my mom! LOL!

Mine don't go back until Monday, and I'm practically drooling! Right now I have one spending the night at a friend's house and one with a friend spending the night at our house; not a bad trade.

Being an elementary teacher myself, I am in NO hurry for winter break to end...

Sleeping until 7:00 am, no papers to grade in the evenings, not talking and being on my feet all day, going to the potty whenever nature calls... it's been heavenly!

...and what a delicious Thursday morning it was... to look out this morning and see the truck windshield covered with ice and to snuggle back under the covers instead of going out in the dark at 6:30 to scrape it off and drive to school!

Then to spend the morning sewing (mending, actually) and sipping coffee and hot tea... ah, bliss!
