Okay, yesterday was a pretty decent day. I had a good day... for the most part.
But that didn't stop Captain Retardo from appearing, and this time bringing an assistant (in order to compound the embarrassment).

Around 12:30 p.m. (after lunch), I was on the phone with Wike when there was a knock on my door. I, of course, stayed on the phone while I was answering (I was on the cordless phone), and who should be there but the best looking utility man I've ever seen in my life! He had that five o'clock shadow thing going on, dark dark eyes and hair, sharp features, and a nice backside (no crack showing, thank the gods)... Hubba hubba! He was telling me that he needed to replace my electric meter (the electricity would be out for only a couple of seconds), and I was just thinking about how nice looking he was... Eventually I realized he was waiting for a response, so I asked for a little extra time to save the stuff on my computer, and then told him to go ahead. I actually turned my computer off, so as to prevent any surge action. Anyhoo, as soon as the door was closed, Wike and I talked about how
fine this man was and what his task was. I walked around the house, looking out the windows and describing him to Wike as he walked around to my back yard and to the electric meter. All of a sudden, my phone went out.
DUH!!!!!!
I eventually called Wike back on the house phone, and the two of us tried to placate each other.
