At this moment she's stuffing her face at Eiger - a swiss restaurant <wink> so when you roll in the door here's a big juicy (((((((((((((Kenda)))))))))))))) from me:):):)

Oh my God...the Eiger... Let me (re)count the ways....
My mate Aggie and I are sooooo going back there soon, and Fayee, we're taking you with us!
Let's see... Roll in the door (hey, I'd had a rum and coke on the way), and the host charges up to us, and is totally hilarious, and oh so welcoming. "Where are you from?" he asks in his lovely Swiss accent. "Oh from Ashfield," we reply in unison (just around the corner) - leaving mine host with his jaw on the ground, LOL.
So, we're about to order. I decide for wienna schnitzel (Yeah, I'm boring, I know ). The host is shocked and tells me I can have that ANYWHERE in Sydney, and I REALLY should try something really Swiss. So I settle for veal in a white wine and mushroom cream sauce, with veggies and rosti. Aggie orders something slightly different, but still Swiss.
It arrives. Aggie and I take our first mouthfuls - and promptly fall into complete lust with our dinners. Just the most wonderful meal I've had in recorded memory (outside of Joe's cannelloni and the Cafe Midnight Express in Auckland). So, we clean our plates up and admit we could order another helping with no trouble at all. But we see what's for dessert and decide against that...
Aggie orders the rhubarb pie with cream and icecream. I order the sour cherries with icecream and kirsch. Can we say H.E.A.V.E.N? Well we will, because it was! By that time we were only capable of sitting stuffing our faces and grinning idiotically and making strange noises in bliss everytime mine host came past.
Ok, so we finish dessert and decide we want to try the Eiger coffee (with Alain's secret ingredient). Mine host says "Are you driving?" (Because let me tell you, I'm more than a little glazed after the sour cherries and kirsch!). We both say no, so he agrees to serve us coffee, LOL.
It arrives. More sounds of bliss and signs of deep and by now somewhat sloshed contentment. Aggie cheekily tells mine host "I know what it is!" He says "No you don't!" Aggie triumphantly retorts "It's grand marnier - and something else!" Host was suitably impressed - and said the other ingredient was kirsch. Yep, Xendaa was by now very merry, as was Aggie.
Anyway, as we rolled out the door somewhat later, we both decided, Fayee, that the very next time you stay over, we are GOING there, because it's an experience we're not about to let you miss out on!!!!!

Well, I'm glad to see you celebrated in a grand way!
I don't even know of any Swiss restaurants here! It all sounds soooooooooo yummy!
Reminds me of a birthday meal a roomate took me to which involved drinks with double the usual alcohol then attemping to eat fruit fondue while dripping small flame balls all over the tablecloth and pounding them out with our fists! NO... not many guest looking our way!
