I was surfing MSN and found this little ditty about how Spies can get info from your computer just from the blinking lights and the glow from your monitor. Sounded odd to me, then I read it.
Here's the link: http://msnbc.com/news/720937.asp#BODY
Seems like it's not as much of a problem for home users as for those large businesses ...
We don't have any flashing red lights - our lights are all green ...

I just thought it was odd. But in an odd way it could make sense. It seems that there are all kinds of ways to get information if your smart (and criminal) enough to want it. Sad that some people are like that.
There are some really good articles there. Some interesting stuff. Be sure to read some if you can.

I agree with shana - more for big business. But as ordinary users you probably need to be mindful of cookies that spy on you and send your info to the cookie owners who then target you for marketing etc.
See www.lavasoftusa.com and infd out if you're a victim of spyware. We downloaded the Ad-aware software a while ago and were amazed how many little spies we had in the computer LOL!!!!!!!!!!

Bit of a shock isn't it when you see how many little pests are in there!!!!!!!
We do it regularly now as part of the virus protection, defragging and all that stuff. Worse than flipping housework ....... <wink>
