Hey all:

I have been in touch with Creation Entertainment about the possibility of getting Keith Hamilton Cobb to join Kevin Sorbo at the Creation Con in San Francisco the weekend of April 6.

So, two things:

1. If you are NOT going to the San Francisco Con but WOULD go if you knew that Keith was going to be there...please put your name here. I also need email.

2. If you'd like to go to a Convention with a Drom Star please list your name, email and the area you'd like to see a con (e.g. East Coast, Midwest, South, West Coast). Specific cities are fine but what Creation wants to know is where to host such an event so a little broader geographically will be more helpful.

1) In answer to this one, YES if Keith came I'd try to come. At least, that's what I want to say because it would have influenced my decision at the time I made the decision not to go to this one.

2)I'd say I'd go to a con in the West or Southwest or even the middle of the US. But the truth is, East Coast doesn't rule it out automatically.

Any interesting city where I could find something else to visit around the con - I hate paying a lot of air fare and the hassle of flying just for the weekend. One of the attractions of the Valley Forge con was the city of Philadelphia. And, sorry Phoenix people, but I'm not real fond of Phoenix so that was one of the reasons I passed on that one.

Here's a novel idea that ought to make it easy to get lots of stars of lots of shows - how about VANCOUVER!!! Beautiful place to visit. Or Seattle - at least they could get the stars there cheap - I don't know about the fans! Another great city to visit.

(But I guess they only do cons in the US...)

A city that is a hub for a major airline so there might be some bargain fares available...(Chicago, DFW, Atlanta) Somewhere Southwest flies - Anaheim?

(P.S. - I've been e-mailing Adam also and he says they're trying to get some more stars for SF,and specifically are negotiating with Tribune for Andromeda stars...)

Meanwhile, to be honest, Kevin is what is getting me to SF. Of course I've seen Keith twice and he's a fascinating guest. I personally wouldn't go to a con just to see him, but I'd be happy if he were in the mix. Without Kevin, a good mix of interesting people in an interesting city is what aggracts me.

As much as I would love to visit the west coast, financially, it's not do-able for me and I cannot trust hubby to care for all the critters! LOL! It would have to be close enough for me to drive to (2-3hr trip, tops) which before was NYC and Valley Forge. What seems to be an obvious choice (well, to ME anyway! LOL!!)
would be Atlantic City. There's plenty of golf courses for Kevin to play on; a few RIGHT BY MY HOUSE, casinos, a personal favorite Mexican place in town to eat, the beaches, a couple of state forests to tramp around in, for those who collect it a Lennox china outlet, Wheaton Glass village, well, the list goes on! And it's an hour ride to Philly. I volunteer to be Keiths personal tour guide!

on their website -- August in Tucson and Dearborn MI in Oct. No details but dates at the moment. I don't think they've ever been to Tucson ... A little better for temps than Phoenix in August.

Been quite busy. New Rush album May 14th, with a single scheduled to be aired this Friday, but could come out on KaZaa at anytime. Going through message board/hosting company hell. Doing a website for my girlfriends drum teacher that's way beyond my capabilities as a webmaster (gotta learn sometime!) Other than that, not too busy.
