I tried going to that website, and it's not there. Also, I noticed a lot of your dolls have disappeared. This is weird.

Anyone else having problems with that Dolls website?

when this page opened up, two other small pages popped up - each asking for a password! One from Kimmy's and the other from geocities! What is going on here?

Kimmy's (the site) is a free Yahoo/Geocities site. As a free site, it must have limited bandwidth, and... apparently... its bandwidth has been used up for now (the week/month maybe? dunno how this works exactly). I guess the other dolls were saved in conjunction with that site and thus, they too are unavailable for now. I assembled mine on my computer then uploaded it to my netbabs Realm... that's why she still shows up here.

I'd check back again this week... if it's still gone, check back again in September. The "temporarily unavailable" message makes it look like the site will come back eventually.

everytime I come here I get a stupid password box. It's annoying. Does that happen to anyone else?

I dunno if that's gonna go away or not.
It could be that the site has been upgraded to try to prevent bandwidth loss. I know I'm surprised to see geocities in the name of one of those password boxes because, for the longest time, geocities hasn't allowed direct access to their files from the outside. I have a geocities account and used to put pix there I wanted to post... a looooooong time ago, and then I couldn't do that anymore.

It's possible that the password boxes will go away once the temporary denial of access expires. Maybe the boxes are a way to let people with their own accounts to still have access, not relying on Kimmy's account.

Or, maybe it's an bandwidth watchdog measure that will always remeain in effect. It'll be interesting to see if the dolls show back up... and, if they do... if the password boxes disappear.

A similar thing happened to my mom - at work! (and she works for a defense contract firm with all kinds of security!) She was trying to find hispanicwomen.org, and put in .com instead - all of a sudden, all these security windows popped up, with warnings, etc.! She tried to close the window quickly, but of course, tons more kept opening up! LOL! When she eventually got them all closed, she told her supervisor immediately what happened! She was sooo embarrassed!

I'm all for copy/paste!
