Yup - my little guy arrived today!!!

I bid on and was winner of the Ares stuffed doll from the Sword & Staff Auction and it just came in today's mail!! My boys must think I'm nuts jumping up and down over this doll (as opposed to the real thing, I suppose). He is just amazing!

Now I have to clean off my desk, since I promised myself I'd put him in a place of honor! And I don't think honor includes DUST! LOL!

Lessa, I did not receive the care letter in the package. Could you send me a copy? Thanks!

Hey, how long do you have to wait to get yours? You ordered them the same time I did (but prolly from different people, I'm thinking?) Pics? Yeah, can do that! I'll get one of my mates to take a pic or two :D

And guess what? Tonight he's doing that smarta** head movement because I FINALLY got the results of my first Aromatherapy module and I got a CREDIT! squeals shrilly. Only took 'em THREE MONTHS to get the results to me, LOL! Oh yeah, I LOVE watching Ares' head move like this, it's the coolest thing! :D

Oh, pout I contacted the ebay vendor - there was some hold up at customs, so I have a little while longer to wait for my Bobble! Hey - maybe I should start making a list of questions now that I want him to answer "yes" to! LOL

I wonder if we got our bobble heads from the same person. My seller lives in Colorado and has a business called Star System Collectibles. I sent a money order so I expect it to take a bit longer.

I forget where my guy lives (hey, it's early and I haven't had any caffein yet :D ), but his name is Keith and he was just wunnerful to deal with. I sent an MO too. He said he'd been told by his supplier (LOL - sounds like a drug!) that they would be arriving somewhere in the first week of August, and he must have sent it out the instant they arrived. And he really is a sweetheart, because it ended up costing US$10 more in postage than he estimated, and was prepared to write that off, because he said he misjudged (it's actually quite heavy). But I'm sending him the extra in postage, although he said I didn't have to because it was his error, because he really has been a delight to deal with.

That's one of the nicest things about Ebay. Meeting some truly lovely people. The woman from whom I've gotten most of my Ares 8x10s and I have become friends, and most of the other people I've dealt with have been a joy. A few have been creeps, but, I figure it all irons out in the wash - and touch wood, I haven't met anyone who was dishonest on there yet.

obviously my vendor is in Canada. I've been pleased so far - they've kept me up-to-date via email. It's not like they have any control over customs, but I'm suprised the one that went to Kendaa arrived so quickly???? Did they originate in OZ??

Anyway, I just feel like whining!!! LOL!

I have had the misfortune of dealing with 2 not to upfront individuals. One I had to file a claim with Ebay to get my money back (which I did, MINUS the $25 they charge and the shipping which I think sucks...)
Now I'm VERY vigilant on feedback info!

OK, I'll just be more patient... 'cuz rumor has it that I'm an Angel! ROTF!

There's very little on Ebay that I bid on that costs a lot (although there was one ultra rare mini-poster for Lawless a while back that went close to US$100 - got that), but no matter what it is, I always check the vendor's feedback. If it's not what I consider good enough or if there's negative feedback - buhbye.

Hope you guys get your bubbles soon because I'm dying to know what you think of them :D
