Milestone in life

we closed on my folk's house yesterday. It is sold and no longer my responsibility. We got a very good and very fast offer after it was listed so I didn't have to wait too long with it on the market.

I grew up in the house and ny parents' built it and lived in it from 1956 -2001. A long time!

finally our summer temps have broken, we have a lovey 83 degree day here. It seems like this last summer lasted 2 years!

Glad to hear all went well with the house sale and closing. It's always better when it all goes pretty fast. Time to relax a little bit now, enjoy the weight off your shoulders and breathe! LOL

It's strange feeling isn't it to know you can't really go there again when the house is so familiar to you and so much a part of your life.
