Thank you for all the happy birthday wishes, but I want to thank you even more for your prayers and good thoughts for my mother. Today she got the happy call from the doctor's office telling her she does NOT have cancer, just arthritis

I wish I could hug each of you.

My mother firmly believes that there WAS something "bad" (she saw the original x-rays herself) and that the many prayers on her behalf were answered.

Well, arthritis is no fun but it's certainly better than cancer!!

I know because I have discovered I have arthritis in my right hip the past year ...

Her arthritis is painful and activity-limiting, but I guess it's not life-threatening like some diseases.
