My brother's hobby is war re-enacting with his buddies. They do WWII and Civil War re-enactments. (This is a serious hobby and they gather authentic uniforms and gear as much as possible.) Sometime last week his friends drove up to Oklahoma for a re-enactment event, and a 16-year-old ran a stop sign and broadsided their Suburban, killing my brother's best friend Steve, and the wife of another re-enactor. Please pray for the families and the friends of Steve and the wife (I don't know her name), especially my brother.

Thank you, everyone! You are all so kind here; I belong to several boards but this is the place I come when things are rough.

I suggested to my brother that he and his re-enactment buddies give Steve a memorial service like the kind they had for the soldiers in WWII... his funeral is somewhere up north and most friends from Texas can't attend. A couple years ago I got my brother a 1942 Army/Navy Hymnal on eBay and it has funeral services in the back of it. He liked the idea and that gave him something positive he can do, which is good.
