It seems like WebTV has troubles with alot of things that Netscape has trouble with. Internet programmers tend to tailor things for IE and then to hack with us misfits using something else {LOL-grrr}.
I have found myself, periodically, having troubles with this forum. I think it's in the java-script that some of the advertisers use. Any time I have a problem with a site, the 1st thing I do is turn off java-script. That does the trick for me 90% of the time. (I'm not sure that's an option for WebTV folks tho.) I've never had these problems with the Castle or DebU... Presumably, again, because it's the java-script used by the particular advertisers. Calee's are paid forums so there is no advertising
Is Tabby's problem constant or intermittant? Usually the ads cycle and only certain ads use the problematic script. If that's her problem she should have access when some ads are running and problems when other ads are running.

I am a webTV user
And for about a week I could not load the forum. It would start to load and then it would disconnect my webTV.
I bet you are right about the java, because although I do not know what it is, I know that webTV is incompatible with it.
Today I was able to get on just fine. I have no idea what the ads are, because with webTV we don;t get popups.
Great to be able to read here again!
And thank you, Whisper, for answering my e-mail and also for posting here about my problem.
