I feel like I fell off the virtual planet and it was not a pretty place. The horror! The horror! (with all appologies to Apocalypse Now).

Seems like my computer decided to die a coward's death - several times over! Applications got screwy, then for some reason, no internet, then other stuff began to have errors, little by little. So, had a geek-friend come by, and we came to the mutual decision to erase-reformat-start over! But at least I'm back on!

First - thank you Fayee, for remembering me! I know I thought of everyone often and lurked occasionally (when I could sneak in between work projects)...

My life? Well, ever since graduation (4 months ago??!!) I studied for the Bar Exam - which I took, gladly! Nothing like spending 2 months-12 hour days cramming everything in, and then have 2 whole days to RELEASE it all! Felt great!

Then, we took the kiddies on a much-needed vacation to VEGAS (kids' choice; go figure). I just loved that my hunter planned it all; I only had to show up! And I won some $$ on the slot machines (if any monkey can pull a lever...). So, good time had by all! :D

Then, the Monday after we got back - I started WORK!! Not a lawyer-job, but as a law clerk. See, I have to wait until I get my Bar results, and then get sworn in and admitted before I can apply for a lawyer-job. Still - I'm psyched! It's the perfect sort of in-between job I need. Not too stress-filled, but keeping my nose in the law and hanging out with other fun people! Pay sucks, but considering the lack of stress, well, it's definitely worth it! And just what I needed after the 3 stress-filled years! I know more stress is ahead, but at least for now, I'm finally enjoying myself!

As for the Bar - I'll get the results come October 4; and the swearing in ceremony is October 24. I'm feeling optimistic - bought a new rather Royal Purple colored suit just for the occasion! (lord knows the profession could use some COLOR!)

Anyway, hope ya'll don't get bent out of shape if I bump a few older threads up - not like me to NOT have a comment of two!

Anyway, great to be back!!! I've missed just EVERYONE - and all the great discussions and pics and THUDS!!! I must get updated on everyone's RL!!

Life for me is going well--you know, praying for heat to let up finally!--and just the usual stuff, work, yoga, a trip or two planned playing with cats, etc. etc.

I want to see pics of you celebrating your swearing in ceremony, ya know!
