Hi, Gang! I don't know how long it's been since I've been here, but I've been thinking about you all and decided I'd pop in tonight.

How's everyone doing? It's so nice to see the boards still up and running? Any news? What's going on that I should know about?

Real life has kind of slung me around this past year, but hallelujah, I've managed to hold on. My second book was accepted for publication and is scheduled for release in July 2004; I've been hospitalized twice, once for emergency surgery and once to have a tumor removed (benign, thank goodness); moved in with friends to save up money to buy my own house (I'm looking now), started dating a really nice guy who turned out to be not so nice, dumped him, started dating another guy who lives over 200 miles away from me, but that seems to be going okay; starting teaching an online class, went back to college to finish my degree, changed majors and now I'm in Human Services. In the interim, I'm still working as a paralegal, still writing (of course), have gained weight, lost weight and now, I'm stagnating. Okay, enough about me. Let me know the lowdown.

Good to hear from you! Hope the next year evens out for you.

I had surgery in April but I've recovered very well. Life hasn't changed much in the past few months other than that, but that's okay with me. A few months of steady, ordinary, "normal?" boring life is okay with me!

Sounds like you've had lots of stuff happening too! I'm sorry about the surgery, but glad it came off well for you in the end.

Thank you for asking after me. Let's see... Promotion, new job, higher salary than I've ever had (YAY!), Went to England for 6 weeks (and slipped in some Ireland and a day in France for good measure) earlier this year, and moving to Perth sometime in the next year :D :D (That's clear across the other side of the country :D ) And that's me in a nutshell

I was so excited to see you're all still here! It's nice to know old friends are still here, you know? Even if you can't communicate with them as much as you'd like to. It's like getting a telephone call from someone you haven't talked to in a while. What a lift!

Thanks for the congrats on the book. I'm on step closer to being able to write full-time at home. Congrats on each of your accomplishments as well.
