I'm passing this on in hopes all seasons of HerK will be released on DVD. Everyone please join and spread the word. Even if you think DP is untrustworthy they are responsible for seeing the DVDs are made available at places such as Target, Wal-mart and Best Buy. Please just register and be counted as a fan/former fan.

Now I know full well that what they reallyt want is to sell us stuff - but
haven't Herc fans been wanting stuff? Especially the dvd's. If you want any
other merch, and ESPECIALLY if you want ALL of the eps to show up on dvd,
please at least register over there. And if you have any thoughts on why
it's
Xena over Herc 3 to 1, please let me know. There have to be more than 415
on-line Herc fans out there.

Come on guys, please - if THESE people get the idea there are no Herc fans
out here any more, the word will spread to other potential
merdchandisers........

I'm trying to interest them in some Herc/Iolaus merch since there's so much
Xena/Gabby stuff. I'm also suggesting that if they use a Greek key logo
instead of that awful Hydra logo (well, I hated it!) on merch, they might do
better. I'll be glad to forward any other suggestions.

but I have to say this - I'm beginning to feel like I'm/we're being spammed about this, no matter how good the intentions. I'm not likely to join a board that's been set up with a primary purpose of pushing merchandise/marketing something at me. The most important reason for this is that I already get enough spam, and I REALLY don't want anymore - and it's a given to me (although I'll bet they would hotly deny it) that in the end you'd end up being bombarded with even more spam thanks to that board and site (and the cookies/software they have without a doubt set up in there to get your details whenever you're on site. If you doubt me, download the Ad-Aware software and do a before and after scan of your computer - you'll be floored by the amount of spyware they've planted on your computer).

I also don't like the sort of emotional blackmail that I sense coming through in this, no matter how good the intentions.

Yes, I had a whale of a time during the Herc years, and made some truly wonderful friends thanks to the show, but really, life goes on, and I, for one have moved on, although I still love and cherish that show and what it gave us. Definitely not speaking or trying to speak for everyone here, but that's how I feel.

You'll find that while this board is nominally called a Hercules board, we very rarely if ever touch on the show any more these days. We're just a bunch of mates who hang out and play when we can and when our very busy RL's permit us.

I very much want to get Hercules seasons 4, 5, and 6. I will take them either VHS or DVD. I see that Andromeda episodes are on DVD at Best Buy. Surely they can give us Hercules!

~~ Nor am I but since they are the company that has the say so about futher releases of the remaining seasons I decided to take my chances this time. I, for one, don't purchase from them but I do purchase the DVDs from other outlets.

~~ I'm the same way, I still love the show and would love to be able to watch it for many more years to come. Unfortunately VHS tapes don't last as long as we'd like. Hope you can understand where I'm coming from.

~~ I've been a lurker here since Whisper opened the board and I fully realize that the show is not the main topic of discussion. That's one reason why I thought the posters here may not have heard of the new board and some may be interested. I don't know if they are on any other mailing lists or boards and have access to the info from those sources. It's not my intention to spam or bother anyone, just to pass along information that some 'may' be interested in. I'm sorry to have bothered you.

I'm with you, I desperately want the remainder of the seasons. I'd much rather have them on DVD because they'll last so much longer but I'll take them anyway I can get them. I don't know why the Hercules fans have always gotten the short end of the stick where merch is concerned, I'm so tired of it.
