Guess what? I'm going in for an interview with the Smithsonian Institution's Behind-the-Scenes Volunteer Program next Monday, which means I might get a foot in the door with their Paleo program...I'm so excited!!!!
<*BounceBounceSquee!*>
Apparently my application and credentials looked good, so here's to crossing fingers...
Aaaaand, besides *that*, I might yet become a gainfully employed member of society...Here's to hoping Panera calls back...
Cross your fingers (or whatever! <*Grin*>) for me...
There is never one so fortunate as he who looks for the better in himself.
Best best of luck, Aquila!

Even before you hear anything!
I've always wanted to work for National Geographic and travel the world. The Smithsonian is equally cool!
Hats off to our budding Palentologist.
(Hope I spelled that right, those long ones give me trouble!
That's long WORDS, before someone quips up with a naughty comment!)

They're setting me up with the program this year, 80-90% certainty!
(I need it for field credit for my degree--Now here's to hoping my Chem time conflict resolves itself! Yikes!)
Keep whatever crossed for me!

Aquila
(And good Lord, only three pages in 11 months!? HTF, have we just lost our propensity to talk!? Naah, it's just a temporary lull...)

Bag that Chemistry crap! God, did I hate Chemistry and it sure showed in my grade! LOL! AND THIS KINDA TALK FROM SOMEONE WHO WORKS IN A COLLEGE SCIENCE LAB DEALING WITH CHEMISTRY!!!!!) And I don't miss a day telling the faculty about it either, especially when they complain about how "stinky" biology can be! Like chemicals never stink!
I did much better in bio and physics!
Do not get me started on calculus...
