Fayee, the snow COMPLETELY missed us! My kids were horrified! Here we sit in our little bubble, with no snow and nowhere for Santa's footprints to be found.... Ah well. We'll deal.

We had a LOVELY Christmas! How about ya'll?!

The girls woke us up at 7:00 a.m. (it was still dark), and they proceeded to tear through their gifts. Even the dog had a great time. lol! Fortunately, Santa was able to be very good to them, as expectations are never low this time of year. Yesterday we had to exchange a couple of jackets, and tonight we had to spend a little holiday cash. Tonight I'm exhausted and ready to rest. Wednesday we're off to the in-laws in Colorado (a 10 hour drive -- I'm planning on sleeping).

I received some very VERY nice cards from my cybersisters, and I was thrilled! I've missed seeing some of the names around, so it was wonderful to hear from them, and from so many of you! THANK YOU!!! I'm very grateful for your friendship and love!

Now, give me a run down!

My sister came to visit and organized our fridge and pantry, We made a huge shopping run (eek!) and many little ones (What do you mean you need an onion? OK.. I'm off to the store... spices? We have salt and pepper..)

She cooked and cooked and cooked and had a great time. She loves to cook. We love to eat We had to make another run for food storage containers.

We had friends over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for dinner. We went out for dessert on Boxing Day. She went home Monday.

She left us with lots and lots of leftovers and her cold. We ALL have it. She didn't have any symptoms till the day before she left but it was too late by then.

We love my sister. She's very generous and fun. Bossy too Her Hunter was happy to have her back. She left him w/ tons of food.
